Insurances

Accepting a wide range of insurances in this current healthcare climate is a must. That’s why we have expanded our insurance portfolio to a maximum level, while still retaining the quality care that we are known for.  We have joined several different healthcare insurance companies and networks since our beginning in 2005 and have seen many new insurance companies expanding into the South Florida insurance landscape.  By constantly keeping an open mind to new insurances and healthcare networks, we continue to elevate the possibilities and choices that our patients covet.

Over the years, many of the bigger insurance companies have continued to buy out smaller insurance companies, making the healthcare world even more confusing than ever before.  Sometimes the bought-out insurance companies change their names to the larger company, and sometime the purchased company is allowed to retain their name and identity.  Some healthcare insurance companies merge together completely at a later point in time, and some companies only partially merge together.  But no matter how complicated it seems to be, CardioFlex Therapy understands all the details of how these healthcare Insurance companies work.

For prospective patients, we always verify their plan benefits for accuracy and detailed billing information. We have to make sure that we can accept their insurance and determine if there are any out-of-pocket costs such as deductibles, co-pays, and co-insurances.  Next, we will relay this vital information to the prospective patient as soon as possible, so Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy begins without a delay. If the patient has a prescription from their doctor, CardioFlex will need them to bring it with them to Therapy. If they don’t have a prescription (also known as a script or RX), then we will attempt to get one from the patient’s Doctor or referring healthcare provider.
