For Home PT & OT, we travel to patient’s homes located in Broward, Dade, and Palm Beach Counties when it’s not convenient for them to travel to us. We understand that if we did not offer this service, many of these patients would not receive the care that they need. When patients receive a true individual treatment session, they can make the maximal progress in their rehabilitation. Many of our home patients need the 1 on 1 personalized PT & OT because of different reasons. Some have balance difficulties and require the therapists to stand with them the entire time to ensure that they don’t fall when they are improving these skills. Other patients require intensive manual therapy to get rid of muscle spasms, increase blood flow, or decrease inflammation and edema.
With all of the diverse and complex diagnoses that our Home PT’s & OT’s are accustomed to treating, bringing the clinic in to the patient becomes a priority to achieving our goals that we set up with each patient. We evaluate and treat patients with Orthopedic injuries, Neurological conditions, Cardiovascular diseases, Cardiopulmonary issues, Lymphedema and chronic swelling, Strokes and TIA’s, decreased Gait and Balance, Vertigo, and Vestibular deficiencies.
